Club Whitsunday is proud to support local sport, community groups and not-for-profit organisations across the Whitsundays.
Fundraising is an important part of what we do. We provide opportunities for local groups to raise funds, bring their supporters together and make a difference in our community.
Whether you’re part of a local sporting club, charity or community organisation, there are a few ways to get involved.
Wednesday & Sunday Raffles
Our Wednesday and Sunday raffles have a long history at Club Whitsunday and are an important fundraiser for our founding sporting organisations.
These sports have been part of the Whitsunday Sportspark precinct for many years and were part of the driving force behind establishing Club Whitsunday.
Friday Fundraising
Friday afternoons at Club Whitsunday are all about knocking off, catching up with your crew and easing into the weekend in our Beer Garden.
Our Friday Knock Off fundraisers also give you a chance to support a local cause while you unwind.
Each Friday, an approved local community group or not-for-profit organisation can raise funds for their cause by serving up a feed or snacks and running a raffle.
Here’s how it works
Club Whitsunday provides the food, with the menu agreed with your organisation beforehand.
Your volunteers:
- Set up in our Beer Garden, ready to serve from 3pm
- Prepare and serve the food or snacks
- Collect gold coin donations for your organisation
- Chat with the Friday Knock Off crowd and share what your organisation is all about
All food donations collected go directly towards your organisation’s fundraising.
Want to Raise a Little More?
Bring along a prize or two and run a raffle for your supporters and the Friday afternoon crowd.
Sell your tickets throughout the afternoon, with the raffle drawn at 5pm.
Invite your members, families, friends and supporters along, share it on your socials and make an afternoon of it.
We provide the food and the place. You bring the crew!

Applications for Friday Fundraising are now open.
Complete our online application and tell us a little about your organisation and what you’re raising funds for.
Before You Start, have these handy:
- Your organisation details
- Evidence of your not-for-profit or community organisation status
- Your organisation’s bank account details
- Proof of the bank account details
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll be in touch about available Friday dates.
Bring Your Crew!
The more people you bring along, the more fun you’ll have and the more you can raise.
Invite your members and supporters, share your Friday Fundraiser and encourage everyone to come down for a cold drink, a snag and a catch-up.
While they’re here, they can also join Club Whitsunday for just $5 per year, giving them access to member discounts, promotions and Members Draws.
